A little reminder,
if I say something in english that it’s badly written, it’s because I don’t speak english. My language is spanish. Everything I know about english it’s thanks to movies, tv shows, and I guess a little bit thanks to school.
Ya reporte como 6000 de esos y todos los dias tengo como 50 .__. antes no existian >_>

I never find the 55-200mm lens comfortable to take portraits. And unless there is a lot of light (which I don’t like for landscapes), I use high shutter speeds with high ISO. (Always manual, of course)
well, I never used one. But the 1.4 aperture gives you a lot of light, you can shoot to high shutter speeds in ”dark” places. Better quality of image, more sharper than a 18-55mm for example. The depth of field it’s amazing.
And that’s all I can think of, so, If I had the money I would buy it.
So… it’s up to you.
18-55: I use it for almost everything right now, interiors (3.5 of aperture), landscapes, portraits.
55-200: I barely use it, when I want to photograph the moon (it’s not a telescope, but it’s all I have), when I want to focus a small part of the ocean. I use that. But maybe I should sell it to buy the 50mm
this is really vague
I use a Nikon D3100 with a 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 (kit lens) and 55-200mm f/4-5.6 (it’s in my about me),
I like my camera, I’m comfortable with it. I don’t have a dream camera, but I do have a dream lens, It’s a 50mm f/1.4 lens, it’s really expensive here, so it has to wait.
send me stuff, I’m going to be here all night, and morning. and hell.
